Went to see Brentwood player last night and expecting to see a drubbing of Hullbridge. What a shock! If Brentwood are the champions elect it is a totally justified comment that Hullbridge are about one season behind them, and I was told their budget is nil. At times Hullbridge outplayed their hosts especially with tight square and triangle passing keeping pocession and equalled Brentwood's exciting flank running. If the game would of finished 11 a side it would of been 3-2 to Brentwood or 3-3 due to the pressure at that time. Brentwood (a good team worthy of their placing in the league) were very good in exploiting the missing Hullbridge player in the last 8 minutes. Hullbridge battled and grafted for their Manager and Coach with a majority very young age side that now with a young coach who obviously knows what he is doing must mean exciting times to come. On the subject of the young coach I know of him from colleagues and clubs and the FA who quite rightly rate his future very high in the game. Players that respect him are true football players, the age is not important. Well done to the Hullbridge Manager and board for this move, you will have a great positive return from this young man I'm sure.

Final word on Hullbridge's performance from the Brentwood manager with the score 2-1 he screamed at his players "don't lose focus one second you know they are a good side"!

Brentwood and Hullbridge thanks for a great demonstration of the passing game on a difficault pitch, it was a good game.

By the way...Players that could not respect a young coach demonstrate 2 things

1) They need to grow up and their attitude will prevent them making the top grade,

2) Any Manager that allows non-respect of a coach no matter how young or old, demonstrates poor player-management, poor discipline and his/hers players rule him not the other way round and perhaps the lack of discipline shows the Manager is in the wrong job.

i don't know who you are mate, but those players have been told in no uncertain terms that there are rules in a football team to be observed and i'm sure they have got the message.Otherwise they will have to ship out!Sometimes you inherit situations and players and take just a few weeks to sort them out.You have my word about it! flamehaving said that 99% of those players are ok,just not used to it!

For your information Buddha, most Premiership teams do not warm down, so saying it like it's a bad thing, invalidates your statement.

What have the Hullbridge players done to not observe the unwritten rules? And what are these unwritten rules you speak of? Coachie is a nutter, but his teams have been extremely polite the 4 times I've seen them this season.

Borat, dont want to get into an argument but it was coachie that said there are rules in a team that his lads are not observing not me and i never said anything derogatory about his players, who knows, when hullbridge get into the premiership they

might not warmdown,my point was that i would have thought that players in the esl would be aware of the benifits of warming down, their new coach obviously does.
