Herts Charity Semi Final

On the main site, it says that if the Enfield match can be rearranged for Tuesday, it will be left to the reserves to take on Hemel in the semi final of the Charity Cup on the same night. Am I missing something here? The only realistic chance left for a bit of silverware this season? If the Enfield game goes ahead, why can't the Hemel game be put back until a later date? Can't be that difficult, can it?

Well, you might think that's worth winning, True, but I certainly don't.

 

Let's concentrate on the league, and not risk injuries etc. playing in a [****!!****] cup.

1. I watched five back-to-back episodes of The A-Team the other day, and I want to be like B.A. (Bad Attitude) Baracus.

 

2. I've been listening to too much angst-ridden Nu-Metal, and not enough angst ridden Emo-Nu-Rock-Pop-[****!!****].

 

Seriously though. You don't care about this cup? We're in the semis, and we got there pretty easy. We may as well go and win it. Have a day out somewhere. You do remember Letchworth, obviously. We can turn up in helicopters and limos.

 

One thing. The reserves are supposed to be having a game on Wednesday. A real reserve match. They can't play 2 in 2 days can they? Unless squad rotation comes into play. Although for that, they would probably need over 15 players.

Also, rather having a go at me, it was True Saint who suggested the Charity Cup is "only realistic chance left for a bit of silverware this season".
