A tough bruising encounter tonight, boro took the lead but we drew level and it was 1-1 at the break. Second half we played some good stuff and were too good for boro, new signing Greg Neyoi scored a couple. Richard morton and a boro player were shown red for a clash, the only sour part of the match.

 

We now face Oxhey in the final, date and venue to be arranged.

well done to gav and Edgware, commiserations to blues 06 and all at Broxbourne. Will be a tough final against Oxhey who are a useful side. Possible venue - Harefield or Broxbourne maybe as they might save Harefield for the CT final. Mind you if Edgware don't make that final I would guess that it would then be played at the WLG.

Inbread fans? LOL, I thoguht BB played ok in the fist half, but were very physical. Your goal came after you brought on that speedy winger who's cross was turned in by our own player, I thought it was Lee Gardner, but turns out it was Buchanan.

 

Second half was one way traffic and we could have scored more, our new signing scored two on his debut!.

 

Any idea when the final would be held?

So Broxbourne are up to their old tricks, First calling Haringey a team full of immigrants, and now calling Edgware inbred? Can nothing be done about this sort of behaviour?

I would not tar the whole of the Broxbourne team wth the same brush, it seems that blues06 is the only culprit here.

 

I wonder how BB speedy winger who made thier goal would think of the imagrant tag seeing that he is black and of African orgin, does that make him an immagrant on benifits in blues 06 book?

 

Funny when he came on he was really speedy and made thier goal, but the second half we kept him quiet.

Do you think I have stopped 'gloating' a while ago I was being told by people on here that I was gloating and being big headed about Edgware's succes this season. I think it's fair to say that I have toned it down and as you can read from my opening message on this thread I did not go overboard.

 

Also I think I took the stick I was given at Hertford very well, and got on well with all the Hertford fans I met.

Agreed Gav that after ur 2nd goal it was 1 way traffic, we are in that position at the moment where we are gona finish mid table so players are not turning up and are not bothered, it really annoys me!! On tuesday we had 3 players pull out of the game for petty excuses!! terrible attitude for a cup semi final!

I thought Broxbourne looked a decent side, if somewhat physical in the first half, I was supprised we ran out 4-1 winners and comfortable in the second half.

 

I see the league as Edgware, then Hertford then Harefield, then a group of teams led by Leverstock Green, WGC/Oxhey Jets/Broxbroune who next season I expect to be comepteting for the top of the table positions.

 

If some of your first team players pulled out of the match for 'reasons' which as you say were 'petty' then that is bad, and wrong, you had a chance to make a cup final.
