Ah, yes. I misread that. I see yours was only a second round game. Still Stony or Cockfosters v Brimsdown is going to be a battle of the promotion challengers regardless.

Good 4-3 win for us at Holmer Green as we proved we can score goals without the Sway. Fairly even first 34 minutes which we maybe had the slight edge on then they scored twice in four minutes. By half time we were level after two good strikes by George Mapes with both defences deciding to have collective off nights. Holmer re took the lead on the hour but another goal by Mapes to complete a great hat trick brought Manor level and then skipper Adrian Mapes nodded in a rebound for the winner.

 

Good game for the neutral but not for the committed from either side.

A superb battling performance from The Waders on Tuesday night, especially after going 2 down within 4 minutes. Thoroughly deserved the point if not all 3 in the end. The team is being carefully and thoughtfully remodelled as recent results have shown and there is a new optimism at the club, quite rightly so.

Wader I wasn't there but apparently you edged a poor game v us last Saturday and deserved the win.

 

Mind you we never do well at Bedford, whats the news on your new ground?
