im off work tomorrow night so might go to the basildon v.southend manor match as its only down the road from me,what are basildon like this season do they play good football?,i used to see them a lot when mark jenkins was manager and they played some good stuff,whats the place like now?,last time i went you couldnt even get a cup of tea there,what happened to their fans focus forum?

If you are into moto cross or bmx biking then the pitch will be to your liking...We have beat them three times this season, but they played well on Saturday I presume, and will nick a few points as the season goes on.

Dunno about tea, but the bar's not bad (if they turn the heating on) good choice of wine and a decent programme too.. Hi Beezer!!

They try to play football, sometimes difficult on ESL pitches. They will battle for everything and if they take the lead they make it very difficult for the opposition to break them down.

 

I'm not saying they shut up shop when in front but they do get bodies behind the ball when defending.

 

Recently they have beaten Tilbury in the East Anglian Cup and on Saturday they beat Burnham Ramblers in the league.

 

Decent bar and an excellent programme.

well your talked me into it, be good to see my old mate frankie ford who works on the gate down there,i wonder whos on the board down there now,last year 3 of their directors john moran,dave cusack and another whos name escapes me ended up in jail.
