i see that brentwood have still not got the ground grading certificate to move up to the ryman league,anyone know if they have to do a lot of work to their ground to move up,i see that barking,barkingside ,burnham and concord have also applied to move up to the ryman but none of them have got the ground grading yet,im getting my information from anothers excellent site.

They will certainly have to change there goalposts!! Think you have to have a players tunnel and a certain level of floodlights plus covered standing etc etc

They have to apply for PROMOTION, not ground grading.

yes but according to anothers site the oakside ground has not been passed fit yet for level 4.

Yeah I believe they re-assess each ground, but it's the promotion they are applying for first and foremost. Barkingside just know that if they finish in the top 2 they will go up, as the ground will get passed fit for Step 4 football.

I think there might be a problem with leaseholding.

so you dont believe that bowers will make the top 3 then smallsy?,8 home matches from the last 13 surely bowers can hope for 3rd or second if romford or brentwood slip up.i think the barking match on saturday, if its played theres a lot of rain forecast this week,may prove very important,a win against barking and 3 points at stanstead could put us in a good position to push on for the rest of the season.

completely agree richard. cant get too ahead of ourselves. we go into the barking game on saturday in a great position but we have faced them 3 times so far and not yet won. it is a massive game for us though.
