Does every single person want promotion?

Apologies for being in a bit of a pensive and reflective mood this morning,but i guess the question is:

 

Does every single player want to get MFC promoted this season ?

 

Does every Board member want to get MFC promoted this season ?

 

Does every single supporter want to see MFC promoted this season?

 

Only if everyone connected with the club in whatever capacity can positively tick every box do we have a chance of it happening.

Has to be a concerted effort from everyone for the final swoop.

If every board member, player and supporter can give an extra 5% be it in funding,publicity, playing effort,feedback and news to the supporters-keep our appetite's whetted- attending games,organising the team, then put that lot all together and you get a massive overall effect.

Everyone has to do just a small bit more;but above all everyone must want it to happen.

Half heartedness won't win a thing.

 

Until we got knocked out of the cups, i was half hearted about wanting promotion this season,but having suffered those dreadful defeats, for me, nothing other than promotion will compensate.

Does everyone feel the same?

Is everyone resolutely focused on getting MFC into conference south next season.

We need to forget the play-offs as a possible backdoor route.

Everonre needs to focus on winning this league ,grabbing this last opportunity by scruff of the neck before another team does, and put some space between us and the other contenders.

yes we do want promotion but the fact is not everyone sees it like that - which is a shame. everyone sees their job and goes off and does as an indivdual instead of a team. (and i dont just mean the players.)

Please re-assure me that my dark thoughts of a conspiracy theory are mis-guided.

 

I keep harking back to our last season in conf south, when we could have stayed up had the will to win just a handful more points been there;but i think the likes of CK knew that the points deduction was always coming.Even so, it only neded a few more points to stay up but we just kept on losing.

Why have we imploded so badly over the last 7 games.

Even without some of our better players we are still good enough;but just not turning in the results.

Always a pleasure to maybe create mildly contoversial and lateral debate !!

 

There is an element of seriousness behind the question however.

 

Is the infrastructure, and are the finances there to fund the additional travel costs which would be at least double those of this season.

We are'nt brilliant at marketing are we ?

 

Its no different to a business over expanding too quickly and not having the cash flow to support the trading.Banks don't like that too much !!

 

Maybe those who feel uncomfortable with the post would like to read the initial post in full as opposed to the headline to maybe get a different perspective on what i am debating.

 

I still can't grasp why we have performed so poorly over the last 6/7 matches.

I really do hope the return of the magnificent 3/4 will see it all come good, but personally, i just don't feel it can be explained so simply.

Micheal think you have answered it here. The reason has to be a combination of suspended players and injuries ? I like your way of thinking but just cant see it. Margate's aim and Trotty's objectives were at the start of the season - PROMOTION. I cant see any senior figures/supporters anywhere in this country that wouldnt want THEIR team to get promotion ?
