Agree with there MM. How much does a cup of tea ACTUALLY cost?! What do they charge, 50p?? When in real terms probably costs no more than 4-5p to actually make so a good idea. There are ways and means of writing this type of gimmick off so no real loss to the club. Buy a couple of thousand beanies at probably less than £1 each even when they have been embroidered also good - I have a Man Utd fleece scarf - lovely and warm and although they probably don't need it, good advertising!!

 

Lets get a new commercial manager in there and kick start this club!

I went to Walton Rd ground to watch a couple of youngsters games on Sunday. Bearing in mind that this is just a ground with a couple of pitches, one small sided, on it basic changing rooms and toilets. What`s there, a snack wagon. Hot and cold drinks, hot and cold food none of which was over priced and a cheery service to boot. Can`t see that anyone would give up their Sunday to lose money.

Of course the best way of trying to improve our fan base is to win our matches, especially the home ones!
