It seems that Steve Coppell brought Sam Sodje on against ManU for the last 10 minutes.

 

He didn't get sent off or even booked and Reading held out for a draw.

 

With Sapps injured do you think we might borrow him for Tuesday. Having played against those red Devils do you think he would like a game amongst the Angels?

Coppell has recently signed a couple of defenders in the January window. There is now the prospect that Sam's opportunities in the Reading first team will be limited (especially in view of his disciplinary record with them).

 

But when he played for Margate he was the best talent I had seen for some time. I am pleased he has got as far as the Championship but if he wasn't doing anything on Tuesday night and Coppell could spare him on loan, I would pay good money (ie bring all my wives along also) to see him. I know he would give of his best!

 

Mr Sanderson, there are better than Sam, but he would be the one who would get the job done!
