Defence played well on the whole. Bazz had a blinder.

Up front not so good. Lord L doesn,t have too many options at the moment. Free kicks were wasted.

R&D must p*ss off every set of visiting fans if they always crowd them into a little corner (I like my space!) and then send in heavy handed stewards to make people sit down. It was okay at Cambridge where they also have big stand behind the goal for visitors.

Stafford, Grays & Morecambe next - we really need 4 or 6 points from these games.

Bad luck Saints. It looks like the other results went against you too. I did notice that the prediction league still reckons you'll stay up by finishing 20th.

Whenever York City play at Rushden & Diamonds they always give us the whole away end so I can't really picture where they put you. I remember their stewards were heavy handed whenever we stood up.

Good luck to the lads next week - the Stafford game's become a vital six pointer!

We are still in need of another one, Archer and clarke are both quality players, but they need some back up, plus clarke will have a match ban soon, and we carnt aford to lose another game.

One positive thing to take away from today, Magnus scored an own goal for crawly.

Benyon scored for them as well though.

I think the deadline to register players has passed. I think Colin should have headed down to Fisher Athletic. Paul Bastock's former colleague, Matt Hocking would have been a brilliant capture for St Albans City. When he played for us Matt scored a bizare goal direct from a corner at Torquay United.

Omari Coleman was also available from Fisher but I don't think he's signed for anyone else yet. He was a class stricker when he played for Dulwich Hamlet. He's also got Conference experience with Aldershot Town and Gravesend & Northfleet and he scored a hat trick on his debut for Watford reserves.
