Steve,he really is trying to help our cause.Give the guy some slack.I know him well & he's a genuine chap.He also follows our club & has supported them on numerous occasions so he has an interest in us.A bit of assistance to him might be worth our while in the long term or even in the short term. He might just be able to get things out into the open.I'm sure we all want to know whats happening or isn't happening or what might be happening.

I fully understand your thoughts on politicians & I am right with you on that but Bob is genuinely wanting to fight our corner here & he shouldn't be put into the same category as most other political adventurers.Well, most certainly not on this subject anyway.

Since the momentous day of the demonstration when I believe we changed the councils noferious reasoning over our stadium my opinion is that the club is to blame over the shambolic stadium debacle. We had the planning permission but then we went and changed it all putting us back in the position we were in in the first bleeding place. It's easy to blame the politicians and I could be wrong-but if I am why don't the club give a re-assuring progress report to us fans who regularly hand over our hard earned ( for in last Saturdays case-a pile of sh!t of a display ) cash to the club and no matter how bad things get we'll continue to do so 'cos that's what supporting your club is all about. I'm despondant and my feeling is THE STADIUM WILL NOT HAPPEN and until someone in the know gives us any POSITIVE NEWS I will continue feeling this way.

The pitch is staying in the same posistion now. Work will start on new drainage and new turf at end of season. The bottom end to the clubhouse will then be done the the changing rooms. It will be a slow but sure approach.

Thats what I heard a director say Saturday....bu who knows !!!

I think that very few people now have much faith in either the club or the council to solve this problem.
It has not done either sides reputation any good.
Perhaps bonkers bob should attempt to get a public meeting arranged and invite Sandy and Keith.....

I think that the danger will be the emergence of teams like Maidstone and Dartford, don't forget Maidstone were a Football League team only a few seasons age, and Dartford were regulars in the Conference these clubs are "sleeping giants" in non league terms and with new grounds they WILL attract better players and as they are nearer to London there is a strong possibility that players now travelling all the way down to Margate will travel less and be attracted to these two teams. Unless the directors, Council or whoever is responsible for the Margates ground debacle, because that is what it continues to be, get their fingers out and sort out the mess that we are undoubtedly in we will lose momentum, then the players and we will be scramblinbg about in the lower leagues of the Ryman. Someone MUST prevent this from occurring. This is not intended to be as negative post but we have got to wake up to reality !!!
