I appeared to have gained five gold stars this morning under my name.

 

It seems some disillusioned individual has picked up on the fact that you can rate a topic or an individual in a range from 1-5, and this looks the likely candidate gets the stars treatment! There is further details on this in the "site news" forum.

 

I will get my own back by freely voting on you all over the coming days and weeks. However, who ever you are, you a a Star! or is that 5 star!

Well you are a deffo 5 star Abdullah. Mind you some kind soul has done same to me, whoever it was many thanks but not sure why I deserve it, unlike Abdullah.

Can the players give us 5star performances over the next 5 games please.

 

We need to go on a bit of a run to open up some daylight between us and the other promotion chasing clubs.

 

One team will start to open up a gap and go on a run(as Hampton have done but they only have caught up).

 

We need to 'seize the moment ' and ensure the next winning sequence of 6 games on the Trott comes from the 'Gate.

I have also VERY recently received 5 stars.

 

I would just like to say how honoured I am to receive this auspicious award. I would like to thank everyone who voted for me, also my mum and dad for conceiving the idea of me in the first place, Mr Goodman, my headmaster at Delabole County Primary in 1944, the train driver who brought me to Margate in 1953, Ernie Lawrence and Bill Friend who taught me my trade, my wife of 39 years, god bless her and all who sail in her! Finally I would like to thank Margate Football Club and players for so much enjoyment over the years. THANK YOU ALL.
