i think it is safe to say burnham SHOULD win but basildon is tricky place to go in these conditions.

Considering that there was only one player left at Basildon after the mass defection along with the previous manager in the close season, this was always going to be a season of consolidation at Gardiners Close.

However, from being the expected whipping boys to winning a few games is a bonus. The manager is building a team which has its fair share of youngsters and the average age of the team is only 24.

We'll give anyone a game and maybe we will cause a few upsets along the way,. grin
