Oh, he's just yellow! Seems you can have together a linnet and a Robin at Hartsdown Park!

Abdullah RSPB!

If its true hes only on that. Then the Gate should offer him at least double. He dominated in the air in the league cup game and he is one of the best players to be playing at this level.
I am sure the Rams fans really wouldnt want to lose him though.

  • 2 weeks later...

I read that grant Cooper is now joining Maidenhead in the Southern League(with less chance than us `of getting promotion to conf south) so you have to ask the question why Cooper did not join margate.

Certainly ,Maidenhead are not a 'bigger club' than Margate.

Why are'nt these signings happening ?

Use to play with Oli, Gavin and Warren in the same team in Sunday league football. Can remember Oli playing at the age of 16 and outstood anyone on the pitch back then. A very good player indeed, a great signing that would be. His brother Warren is also very good and played in the same youth team at Chelsea with John Terry (a bit of useless info for you !)

getting hold of Oli might not be a problem , but as you say getting him to train is the problem and even more of a problem would be getting him to go to Dartford for training sessions would be even harder , local lad that has to travel miles 1-2 times a week is of concern , maybe when the pitch is ok to play on the club could do a training session at HDP and one in Dartford .
