Best City game.....ever?!?!?

Whilst still glowing from the Stevenage away result, it got me thinking about the best City game i've been to....

 

Chesham at Home '92?

Torquay at Home in the FA Cup?

Wisbech Away in the FA Cup?

Bedford away?

Telford away (well it wouldve been up there, if i hadn't stayed at home instead because i had Jack Dee tickets for that evening)

 

Any other ive missed?

I've only been to see St Albans City 18 times so far so the best for me has got to be the play-off final. I know it wasn't a classic but the result and the celebrations were superb.

 

I wish I could have got to the Kiddy game as that must have excellent too.

Torquay away will always have a special place for me, however the result was slightly dissapointing!

You might get a repeat trip to Torquay next season, JK!

Torquay away was also spoilt by the rain. I enjoyed our goals at Bristol City but the rest was a bit embarrassing.

When the sixth went in, the chant "We're gonna win 7-6" from the Travelling City Faithful was uplifting, however, Terminal.

as for Brizzle i kinda liked that day out for one of the reasons mentioned there by AFF, equallly we were afforeded the dubious honor of best away fans to visit Ashton gate that season

I think that Allan Randall was awarded the title of Most Adventurous Visiting Manager at their end-of season 'do', JKiF.

 

Playing three at the back that day against two of the fastest wingers outside of the Premiership worked a treat. We scored two crackerjack goals. Hopes of a glorious comeback were dashed, however, when their ninth went in.

 

I recall that the chants were just as loud at "we're gonna win 10-9"

I seem to remember beating Kingstonian 8-3. That was just funny.

Does the person doing the nominating have to have seeen all 90 minutes?

AFF, that chanting has always been talked about on my travels in the media world!

The Kingstonian game was 6-1 at half-time and 8-3 after about 70 minutes! I have a feeling we beat them 5-something at their place too that season.
