Another moan about Radio Kent

Try not to moan too much about Radio Kent but sometimes they don't help themselves.

 

Going into the Radio Kent website through the normal BBC one under Sport they have a link to seperate Fan Zones for each of the Rymans Premier League clubs.

It does however make you wonder if they actually bother to vet some of the entries with some pillock calling himself "Margate the Best" talking utter bullsh1t about us playing in some weird colour shirts, Welford playing for us and us beating Herne Bay.

 

When it was pointed out that this was the rantings of a madman nothing happens which leads onto the other possibility in that Matt Davison getting his own back for us complaining

Do you mean that RK actually acknowledge the existance of other teams besides Charlton.

In fairness, Matt D doesn't have much - if anything - to do with the web-site, and I don't think it is very good either.

 

What I will say though, is that RK have tried to cover our last 2 home games. But traffic got the better of an attempt to get to the Carshalton game, and of course last weekend's was postponed.

I think they have got a lot of plugs! The place is full of electrics and without the plugs they couldn't get the power supply to broadcast!

Most of us agree that Gillingham,then Gravesend,then Welling should have first call on the LOCAL radio as they are our COUNTY'S top club.

What pisses us off is

a)London club Charlton getting any coverage....can they report on Fulham as I support them

b)Not expected to be covered as a right but would like our scores updated during the afternoon correctly (reporting 0 0 when the score is actual 3 1 is a pain in the ezekiel)
