Daggers Last Saturday

Talking to a Daggers supporter at work last night. Seems he wasn't best pleased with last Saturdays performance.

They were lucky to get the goal they did, Rushden could of scored more. After a two week break, because of the Trophy, Daggers played like a preseason team who hadn't met each other before. Poor passing, disjointed and big booted clearances from defence.

He's been going on how he expects the Daggers to trip up and start dropping points soon. Well lets hope he's right. Anyone fancy an all ticket Conference Champions decider on the last day of the season.

What I dont wnat is a situation where daggers need a point to secure championship and we need a point to confirm play off spot.

 

Be achance re live that epic 1982 world cup match between Austria and WestGermany.

 

If we can confirm where we finish (in or out of playoffs) and daggers confirmthey are champions before that game , it could make for a rare spectacle of a late season entertaining game.

My only worry is that of Riverview Supporters, esp with our great banter with Roberts. Wouldn't want him to get one over on us lol.
