Think I would have to agree with the coach and EMFC on this one.

 

Ensign are a good side with some very good players, but stop banging on about what you might and might not do if you came up to the ESL.

 

You had some good results in friendly's but that proves very little...Southend Beat Man Utd, but I bet Steve Tilson isnt e mailing Sir Alex, about a top 6 premiership finish.

 

Like they say talk is cheap, I am willing to believe your a good side, but until your willing to walk the walk...you should stop the talk.

No game is a friendly for me, Smallsy. I always give 100% and hate losing.

 

And this forum is all about opinions. Not banging on abot what we will do, I am just confident that we would do well in the ESL. If we get there next season it will be interesting to see if I'm right or wrong. I think we have the players to do it. If anyone disagrees with that, its cool with me.

 

I won't be playing in the ESL, coz I'm far too old to be playing 2 or 3 times a week now - and Stansted away on a Tuesday night doesn't appeal to me any more.

dont disagree you are a good side but playing ensign in a friendly is a no win situation. we win and we are "higher team" and we lose we get "mugged off".

 

would be interested to see it ensign can motivate themselves for a season of these "friendlies".

 

my opinion of ensign as a footballing side is good though and think you are right they would be up top 6.

 

comparing ensign to beaumont is embarassing.
