I am the one who thinks you should show a bit more respect to a manager and a club who comfortably beat you in a pre-season game, and especially someone who you know.

 

The least you could have done was speak to LL and see if young Trenkel might be available to sign for you.

 

LL is always happy for any of his players to go on to play for a better club. However, I personally don't think Hullbridge are as good a club as Ensign anyway!

to be honest Swampy,you should know that you don't need any 7 dayers or players release because are different leagues(i asked Beryl if we needed a 7 days and she said no and i had players joining rayleigh town and no phone calls from anyone).The lad wants to test himself in a league a step above.I'm giving michael a chance to play regular ESL football when,from what i have heard he was a fringe player and playing in 3-4 different positions in the white ensign first and ressies.I don't think there is anything wrong with that and as far as i'm concerned i have a lot of respect for the White Ensign officials.

Smallsy: Nah, done the Senior League years ago, won a few medals too. The quality of football is not there now. Too many teams playing long ball because of shat pitches - and the standard of teams isn't what it was.
