Once again I am available to attend a fixture elsewhere this afternoon if somebody wants to make me an offer I can't refuse, Ruislip Manor v Kingsbury London Tigers perhaps.

Edgware v bigg town is off as well, I got to the ground at 1.45 to find from somone walking away that the pitch inspection was very late and the ref had said the pitch was waterlogged.

 

You think the officals would have the inspection earlier given the recent weather and save the bigg town playes who were all at the club a journey!

It's up to the home club to organise a pitch inspection if there is any doubt. We had ours at 9.45am! Sounds like you left it to the match referee, and he wouldn't play the game.

What a surprise but at least it gave you an opportunity to keep the missus sweet and join her for some retail therapy. Why can't something be done once and for all about the hallowed Coles Park turf rather than just spend a few grand in dribs and drabs at the start of each campaign, look at those two lucrative pre season friendlies with Enfield and Enfield Town that had to be cancelled in August, that was a pretty poor show don't you think.
