How much has the shoddy way the pitch was laid last season cost the club. A good attendance missed again today and moved to a Tuesday night when attendances are down. Lets face it before last nights rain it was still only 50/50, despite the club paying for the pitch to be aerated. Because of the chalky ground it was very rare that the gate had matches called off on the old pitch. Another wasted Saturday and loss of vital revenue for the club and another chance for the other clubs to catch us. Is it going to cost us the title I wonder?

I agree there Margateshot, but sadly there is not much the club can do, hopefully this should be the last game we have called off this season. I think we didn't lose much revenue on Tuesday night away to carshalton though as the bar would have taken extra takings, as the catering outlets as the game was delayed for an hour. Lets hope this happens when we play Tonbridge on the new date or even better get a higher attendance.
