Thanks FM.
I feel bad that i have stooped to their level though, but
fair play to Rhodes, he has mastered the art of bringing the
worst out in people.
As for spursfan, he strikes me as the type who only got
to play football when used as a goalpost - Rhodes was the
other post i suspect.
As of now i shall make a concerted effort to refrain from
replying to their posts but you can never say never biggrin1

Jonno - Yes I played regularly from leaving School until my mid thirties albeit never at a particularly high level and usually over Hackney Marshes, Wanstead Flats and Wormwood Scrubbs, Sport London e Benfica style. I played a lot in the Association of Provincial Football Supporters Club's in London (APFSCIL) League for both Bristol City and Rotherham (don't ask), Football Man and Horace have possibly heard of it.

Ignoring your usual snipe at SLeB......

That was a long winded way of saying you were crap

I readily admitted that I wasn't a Cruyff, Maradonna, Pele, Best, or a Lee Scott come to that, by any means

Rhodes my old boy!! how are we doing?

I am very happy to see kentish town at the top of the league - it gives all teams around you hope that if KTFC can do it anyone can! i mean if last year is anything to go by you will be giving another team your spot very shortly and fading into mid table.

how is josie these days?

3praise - Great to hear from you again, how are you keeping. I'm now convinced that you are Ged Searson or George Lappas as you seemed to disappear from view as soon as 'Sugar' unceremoniously wielded the axe on poor Ged who, as you agreed with at the time, didn't deserve that, given more time he would have got 'us' up this season whereas I'm not so sure Allan Fenn has what it takes when push comes to shove, he likes to talk the talk but he's not so good at walking the walk.

You asked about Josie, do you mean Jose, 'our' former Portuguese Coach or Josie the bar lady (Manics friend), if it's the later I wouldn't know but Jose is very well, we often meet and talk about the good old days and the kids Club we ran on Saturday mornings until 'Sugar' pulled the plug to the horror of the local Community.

3praise - good to see you back. I saw that you were posting on the ESL site earlier in the week. I notice that clip Rods is no nearer working out who you are. It's been 18 months now. How many people at Haringey can there be? laugh

Mr. Achillea's plans for Coles Park sound very exciting and the place will be transformed when everything is finally complete. It's good to see Haringey in a cup final too. It shows that they have finally removed the shackles of the years they had to carry clip Rods and are now moving forward in a unified direction - something they could never do with clippy's lack of understanding of team ethics. Fenny has the team fired up and, in time, will doubtlessly add quality to a squad that appears to have a good nucleus already. Prospects for the club appear to be on the up in many different directions at the moment. Perhaps the relegation last year was the one step back that has enable them to take two steps forward?

3praise - You may be interested to read this article from today's hot off the press Tottenham Journal, I was surprised to read Allan Fenn's quote where he states that ''we' are the strongest team in the division and he expects 'us' to go and get the title', I thought 'Sugar' said categorically that nobody at Coles Park was talking about promotion:

Greg Dyke - No obviously not as Brentford are in London, APFSCIL stands for the 'Association of Provincial Football Supporters Club's in London' meaning that it is made up of supporters club's based in London of teams outside London. Does that make sense, I did play against Man Utd, Celtic and Rangers though.
