for every non-league manager that gets the chop.They say it's part-time but in reality we as managers know that is nearly everyday that we are at the club,either coaching or having meetings or even sweeping up the changing rooms!Most of the times we get money out of our pockets!So i just wanna spare a thought to every non league manager that gets sacked.That's all!

Well said coachie. It's a thankless task all said and done and any small success is like having a p*ss in a wet suit, it gives you a nice warm feeling but no ones else notices.

Sorry to disagree slightly again coachy but you seem to be one of those managers who is prepared to do all of those jobs yourself and i would defo agree that all the time/effort most managers at non league level put in then yes it would actually cost money to manage so it must be for the love of our game that they are prepared to give up their time,however their are of course some nasty feckin bullies i have come across who have limited knowledge who are only actually in it for the money and pick on young players who they think that they can talk and treat how they like knowing that their will be no comebacks.They are the ones that you cannot feel sorry for.

very true indeed Cider! I don't feel sorry for someone like that.It is also true that if you are an honest guy that does right in his job,you'll always find some clubs that appreciate that.
