I think it is very fitting that after their mix-up in the Worthing match, that in the next home game -last night- that the outstanding contributions appear to have come from Greg and SCS.

Well said we are quick to slag them off when mistakes are made we should be equally quick in our praise Well done Scott and Greg

SCS kept us in the game in those last 15 minutes. We could have easily lost!

 

With all our forthcoming suspensions and injuries,it is good to see what an asset we have in our last line of defence. However, I hope he doesn't have to play as last line of the defence so often!

The goal was out of nothing & very well executed. Hockton on the ball on the left spraying a fantastic long ball over to the right flank to a shouting Oates who did magnificently to hold of two challengers to shoot high into the net.Just shows what can be achieved by running off the ball into space.

Scott made about 3 saves all game but what magnificent saves they were.The last one in particular right on the full-time whistle was outstanding.He lacks in the verbal department(something Trotty was having a go at him about last night at length-at too much length I thought) but if he can get that part of his game sorted then he will improve even further. Great from both of these. Also Skinner was super too,everywhere the other night.Tremendous.

These players have very rarely been zero's i.m.o.

Last paragraph absolutely correct-SCS and GO have never been 'zeros'.

Could'nt think of anything else apprpriate to rhyme with hero though. !!

 

I'm amazed that SCS is still with us-think i predicted in September that we would lose him in January transfer window.

As i can't see the club agreeing to loan him to anyone, looks like w are lucky enough to have him for the season-thank goodness.

 

As he was a bit 'untried' when signed at atart of season,i suspect he is only on a one year contract.

 

Hopefully MFC will be trying to get him on a further 2 year contract now-so that when a conference national, or more likely a league club comes in for him in the summer, we can at least get a proper fee for once.

At his age -young for a goalie-he has alot going for him.

I belive Scott is on a 2 year contract but, am not 100% certain.
