AFC Wimbledon....

I think he meant we are, at the moment, in a play-off place. Obviously he's looking forward to the time when we're clear of the play-off spots and in pole position wink

Not sure what happens here if AFC are succesfull. G&N have already been reinstated, beaten Rushden and play Northwich in the 4th round on 24th Feb.

Haha Local, playing mind games eh! We know all about Heybridge and we (as fans) will certainly not think they are auful as we are well aware of strengths they have. Remember, we have been in this league/old Ryman Prem longer than a lot of your new fans have seen Chelmo! It will be a tough game (if on) and i for one do not think they are auful. They have been up there in this league for many a season and it takes a decent team to get one over on them.

As for The Dons, my guess is that if on appeal they manage to have reduced it will be halved which if that is the case will certainly keep them in touch.

I see AFCW are to appeal... their argument is that the punishment was disproportionate to the offence... Problem is that the punishment is laid down in the competition rules. Quite what will happen if they're still involved in legal action at a time when the play-offs are in progress is anyone's guess!

The Ryman League did the right thing. They applied the correct punishment according to the rules, they were consistent. Whether you think the rules are right, is another thing. Wimbledon cocked-up, it happens. The whinging though will probably go on forever. It's Wimbledon V's the world.
