well done manor. saw cheesey this morning and he is nursing 2 broken cheek bones from scopesy! taz sent off and a goal after 7 seconds for manor.

monk it was young team yes so we did well, 2 players over 22 rest all younger, we had some quality performances, wilson was immense, tubbs great strike and new centre half very solid too

 

was tight game but i feel we just shaded it,the concord player didnt deserve to be sent off but it was already 2-0.

scorers manor = wilf milskaka or summin like that, tubbs, and under 18 dunno name

stand and be counted we were [****!!****], but did outplay them all night just no end product.

We would be great a five a side keep ball no goal i think.

Msiska scored after 24 seconds and Tubbs scored after 52 mins. Msiska, Cheeseborough and Hayden were a handful all night. Concord lost their discipline and started following through on tackles resulting in three quick bookings including "Taz" and Trenks. As well as the tackling, their swearing was X certificate too.

Manor starting "playing" the referee, by feigning injury, including one outrageous dive by Cheesy when Big D never got near him. A Concord player got booked in this incident for squaring up to the said Cheese. However, tempers were still high and when another Manor player went down in a very hard tackle from Taz, he lost it and kicked the prone player, in the chest. He got a second yellow when he should have got a straight red!

Down to 10 men, Concord calmed down and continued with their passing game and Trenks nipped into the penalty area to reduce the score. It looked as if Concord would equalise, and should have done so much was their pressure. Manor were reduced to punting the ball out of defence hoping that Msiska would get on the end of one, and in the end it paid off, when a Manor sub, scored the third, from a Msiska run through,to put the game out of reach.

Verdict -

Concord play good passing football but not much bite last night. Big D plays too deep.

Manor are a fast young side (five U18s in the starting line-up) who rely on the quick ball over the top for Msiska to run onto.

sack the scout if thats how he see the game. we hardly played a long ball all night untill the end when we was under a bit of pressure.

 

we tried to play it out from the back when we could but it was going to be difficult with 2 of us agaisnt 3 in the middle. so we used it to our advantage and our fullbacks did well and got foward when they could.

i agree big d plays to deep and was suprised the other striker didnt play.

 

trenks i learnt it all from jay jay and james nolan they are my idols, good battle in there son you cant do it all on your own though, not seen the other two midfielders play before they new?.
