I popped in at a freezing goffs lane for the second half last night, Broxbourne were 1-0 up at half time though a Blues06 Penalty and really should have gone further ahead a couple of times, but for poor finishing on one on one situations. Oxhey drew level midway through the second half after a period of pressure when Broxbourne failed to clear their lines, allowing a visiting forward to lash home from close range, it wasnt long before Oxhey got what turned out to be the winning goal from a disputed penalty, a broxbourne defender looked to have produced a great last ditch block on the goal line but the ref adjudged he had used his hand and awarded a penalty which was duly dispatched. Both sides created further chances and played some good football on the rapidly freezing surface, Broxbournes main threat was Blues06 set pieace delivery which caused havoc in the Oxhey box, none of these chances were taken and Oxhey ran out 2-1 winners on the night.

frustrating night last night, once again our inability to kill games off cost us, we should have been 3-0 up at half time!

It was weird coz oxhey had their 2 main strikers missing (Gladdy and Arthur) and we had our 2 centre halves missing (Edwards and Casali).

As for the weight thing, since my bird gave me the boot i've been down the gym 4 nights a week! hehe

Wrong there One! Different Arthur at Leverstock and Gladdy definitely plays for Oxhey - his twin plays for Harefield.

Jamie Arthur was the guy from the first game. He also scored in the abandoned game. Think he's suspended at present
