Good display last night. Fair play to both teams for producing a high quality game in difficult conditions. Fair play to the ref too for not calling the game off.

 

That OG equaliser could be the goal that kick starts our season as we didn't look like getting back into the game before that even though we seemed to be knocking the ball around nicely.

 

I though Porter was MOM again. He ran his socks of and won so many challenges that somebody his size had no right to win.

 

The new guy in midfield got better as the game went on, Matty S would have been well impressed with his burst into the box followed by a text book dive, and although the ref wasn't fooled I would still give it 10/10 for effort and artistic merit.

 

Not sure what the ref was on, he seemed to be having a good game until near the end. First he let their number 3 take Case out with a lunge and then boot him in the head while he was lying injured on the floor (the lino was about 5 yards away) then Case went though again this time he got mowed down when he would of been in on goal and not even a yellow was produced.

 

Finally the Burgers were the finest tasted so far this season.

great result for the lads, gutted i couldnt be there, but roll on saturday and heres hoping to another 3 points for the promotion band wagon

came to life in the last 20 minutes and dunlops goals were superb. great touch and finsih for the first one and a great clean strike for the second one - the keeper did'nt even move.

new man in the middle looked alright and his passing was good, his comedy dive when he'd lost control was quite funny..the olympic diving team in 2012 might have another contender!

 

good to get back to winning ways and get the points on the board. roll on newport on saturday.

The new guy is Kelvin McIntosh wh has joined us on a months loan from Hampton & Richmond.

Good Victory for the lads and a solid performance.I thought the back four did extremely welland am pleased Furmage has got a run in the side. The new guy in midfield was ok not great but it was his first game. Why is Dolan on the bench at the mo,is he still injured? Thought he did well against Bracknell and he was only on mins when he set up Dunlops first goal.Hope he's not going to move on.

At least we are on the up! Have a feel a good run could be coming on!

my brother told me of an incedent in which 1 of there players stamped on john case and only got a yellow!? what acctually happened??

casey was through on goal and was taken out by the defender.whilst on the floor their player appeared to stamp on case as he was walking away and coyne got involved ( as usual). their player then proceded to swear in the direction of our fans behind the goal and the referee told their player he was being booked for " foul and abusive language". thats about all there is to it.

they could'nt handle case with the ball at his feet and attempted to foul him almost every time he touched it.

Matty, You forgot to mention that they took that player off 2 minutes later. I don't remember him swearing towards our fans!

I didn't think windsor played that well and if it wasn't for the own goal we would have lost.

Woody, Don't remember the 25 yarder. He was in the box when he scord his second!

The new player did ok and the dive in the box has to improve!

I was also impressed with their two strikers. Very Physical and good on the floor.

Still good burgers at the ground but I don't know if they beat bracknells!
