Either use the A2 - M2 - A299 or use the M20 - A249 - M2 - A299 I don't think there is much in it either way!

Then follow signs to Margate, and then follow instructions shown on Margate Website!

I travel quite a bit to and from Sutton and find the best way is M25,M26,M20 A249,M2 and then A299 and as AB says follow directions on website.

 

PS It normally takes me about 90 minutes at a steady pace. I find the best way to the M25 is over Banstead and Chipstead and join it from the M23.

I travel from Croydon and take the M25 then the M20 and then the A249 past the county show ground onto the M2. Not much in M2 and M20 from M25 but sometimes there are q's back to M2 turnoff from the Dartford bridge
