Hi folks,

Just wanted to say a big thanks for making our first visit to see Billericay a memorable one - in particular to Gary, Keith and Ian for making themselves known.

It certainly got off to a bizarre start sharing a taxi to the ground with Adrian Allen. You have a great wee gift shop at the club too and the clubhouse was absolutely massive - with some decent beer too!

Getting the 3 points made it a top day and even sweeter with Chelsford failing to pick up the win. I know the next few games are certainly a good bit tougher on paper but fingers crossed for the play-offs anyway.

Incidentally until he limped off, I thought Jamie Dormer was running the show in midfield - a quality player. Would be nice to see him up here in a Clyde shirt but of late we seem to be adhering to a strict new policy of only allowing top players to leave the club, rather than bring them in.

Incidentally, being a big fan of the NFL, I heard yesterday that the game that will be played at Wembley is on the 28th October, so it looks like I might get to another Billericay game earlyish next season.

Better head as my internet credit at luton airport is running down fast - and, naturally, I need to cram in a few beers before take off.

Look forward to more banter on the message boards over the next few months and to see you later in the year.

Cheers

Colin/Danielle

ps having looked at the hat I bought, the logos of Clyde and Billericay are pretty alike - scary stuff!

See you Jimmy! - glad you enjoyed your trip to the depths of Essex and enjoyed the company of a few sassenachs.

Yes, sweet that Chelsford (whoever they may be) failed to pick up the win, but at least the Clarets got back on track with 3 points to stay with the chasing pack.

Trust you arrived back home to be greeted with a decent layer of snow - plenty of it over here in the east of the country today.

It was a pleasure to meet you & Danielle. A 100% record at BTFC games is not to be sniffed at, lets hope you maintain that record in October when you next visit. You were spot on in your comparison of Chelmo to Partick Thistle. Thanks for making the time to come and visit us.
