Blimey - the results really went our way today. Eleven points clear and only one team of the six teams immediately below us actually won. Brilliant!

Thanks for your good wishes young Kaiser but I think from the reports that it certainly wasn't a cruise today - more like backs to the wall and a "blood and guts" performance once going down to 10 men. Yet again the lads showed the pride they have in wearing the shirt. This team of ours is carving itself a place in Urchins history.

Hey Unc, when you talk to Jonboy please pass on our congratulations as Welling United progressed to the last eight in the F.A. Trophy. They beat Worcester City 2-1 at home but the surprising thing was that the crowd was reported as only 606. Poor show for such an inportant game. When we played there the crowd was reported as 712.

I heard they had a problem with their floodlights and were having to play home games at Gravesend's ground. Can't have played there today as Gravesend were home to Rushden in the Trophy.

Good result today after a poor first half, a pity that Jimmy had to go off but we still kept a clean sheet. We have gone through a tough period of fixtures and can now look forward to a string of home games where i think attendances are important.
