Bracknell 3 Windsor & Eton 2

well, 10 men for about an hour, and if the bracknell number 5 hadnt pushed over ricki in the box at the end it would have reflected how poor we were today. a poor referee and 2 poor sides.

one of our worst performances, appearing to lack any shape. once dolan came on there was some creativity but before that there was very little.

ben porter worked hard and burgess was solid in the second half but other than that there was very little to get excited about

except for tilbs scoring....even if he did get sent off

i agree, we were rubbish. Where was vargas, surely he is a better bet than '300 m.p.h hour man' Burgess. Also why take Furmage off he was our best defender.

Dolan has to play from the start Tuesday, he was our best player the only guy who wanted the ball. We had better start winning soon or we aint going to make the play-offs!

Terry O'Conner wasn't on the bench I assume because of the injury from the reserves game in the week. Read the reserve report!

Stop knocking Simon. He's doing a good job at the moment. We still have games in hand and it wont be long before we are climbing the table.

We played well in the first half until the sending off and looked like we could sneak a point in the closing minutes.

I enjoyed the game except for some of the idiots comments from behind the goal!

I would still like to know what there centre half was doing hitting Dolan. What an idiot!

Still a good report in the non-legue paper.

I THINK WE HAVE A GREAT SQUAD, ITS JUST THAT WE SEEM TO PLAY THE SAME LADS ALL THE TIME, SUBS ARE MADE TO LATE ON IN THE GAME TO HAVE ANY AFFECT, WE NEED A SHAKE UP, GIVE SOME OF THE OTHER LADS A START

Saw Will in the Stag and Hounds about half 6ish and he looked gutted. Let's hope the rest of the side felt it as much as he did and will look to get back to winning ways tuesday.

As for the game we was poor but christ just because we've gone 2 games without a win is hardly an excuse to slate the manager! Good vocal support yet again. More of that on tuesday and i'm sure we'll be back winning soon!

Craig Vargas was unavailable for selection. As for taking off Furmage it was tactical rather than anything to do with what Shimmer had done. Maybe Dolan should start on Tuesday but he has been injured and unable to play for a few weeks so give him a chance to get back into it.

I await to be proved wrong though as ever.

Yes, Terry did get a good run out in Saturday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but it was the game on Wednesday that he picked up a knok against Maidenhead.

i think mr lane is under acheiving massively, probably the biggest budget in the league and no where near the play offs. if only our league position was as high as his opinion of himself we would be flying.

No where near the play offs, probably something to do with the fact we have played a shed load less games than the rest of the league.

Put your name to the posts. for all we know you could be slough fans on a wind up. Besides from what i've heard the bugget isn't big, who exactly are the 'big time' players? You cannot blame the manager for saturday and tuesday was a game against two good sides where we was unlucky not to win! It's a joke that you can slag off Simon. Let's see where we are at the end of the season!

OK the game wasn't the best on Saturday and it is only couple of games we have not done well in. Injuries and the long time without a game has hit us hard but I am sure we will come back brighter on Tuesday. I heard Jamie Furmage went off on Tuesday due to be injured. I thought tanners and dolan looked good when they came on. Shame about Tilbs but that is a part of his game he goes in whole hearted that is why we like him so much!!!

I think it is a little early to be starting on Simon. For a long time we had been praising him for doing so well and just after a few games that have not gone our way you are giving him stick. There is a long way till the end of the season save your judgement till then.

Anon if you don't know already if you don't put your name on here your not taken very seriously or classed as a Slough fan or ex-player so put the name to it. It's better for you in the long run.

As a fan of Bracknell Town I have to say that I thought that your team played with a lot of spirit on Saturday even after you were reduced to ten men ..... Thought it was a thoroughly entertaining game to watch for both sides with chances coming thick and fast.

I think that Dolan ran into Damien Smith (Bracknell No5) but with no real intent, and it certainly didn't warrant his reaction and he was deservedly sent off.

Bracknell actually played a lot better against Marlow in the week and lost 0-2 so you don't always get the result that you deserve.

Believe that your main problem will be trying to get all your games in hand played without ending up playing three games a week.

Big deal we drew to a good taunton side who to be fair came looking for a draw, played well and held thier shape (and were saved twice by the wood work).. But we played well.. we didn't win no, however its hardly as if we under performed.

They were a solid side.

So we've actually had a run of one bad game... and you are berating club, manager and players? Do Grow up.

Bracknell were not a great side and we didn't play great... but its one blooming game!

I would defy anyone who has seen a majority of the games this season to outright state that Windsor has not got a team good enough to go up this season.

We looked dominant against Marlow and from what i gather very good on Tuesday; we then had a very poor game against Bracknell so lets sack the management, shoot all the players and give up hope!!!!

i would say if we put a run of a few wins together, which we are totally capable of doing, hten we will be back in the mix for a play off position and i personally would back us in a one off game if we are up for it against anyone in the league.

We'll be there Tuesday, cheering on the team and I reckon a much better performance will result in a win, Simon has brought in good players and got them playing like a team most of the time.

Simon is posititve about what the team can acheive and that transfers to the pitch in most games, so when they have a bad day we just have to deal with it and move on to the next match.

All those who are slating Simon should appreciate what he came into and how optimistic we are now and how well the team can play. It may not be a perfect team, but it is considerably better than what we could have expected after last year.

So UTR and bring on Andover.

i can only think of 2 or 3 games this season where we havent performed to the best of the teams ability, but every time people seen to be slating the players/management. lets get everything into context. as of this moment we are the 3rd highest scoring club in the league, behind only the top 2 and with the games in hand we can easily climb the league.

we didnt play that well at bracknell but it must be remembered that their ground is not somewhere were windsor wins to often. i cant think of a time in the recent years when windsor have come out of a game with bracknell with 3 points.

lets leave the slating of the manager and anyone else till after the seasons over. simons got the side trying to play football and its a ,lot more entertaining than last season ever was.
