Tony Ievoli's lads beat Ilford today at the Stadium 2 0

The Young Urchins, minus several of their usual lineup, were on top from the off with chances being created non stop.

A penalty in the 22nd minute by Alex Ievoli hit the post and very soon after my Man of the Match Adam Summers netted the first.

Chow Sandhu scored the second in the 33rd and then it was non stop pressure from our lads.

Ilford raised their game a little after half time but the defence withstood all their efforts, with Spencer Harrison making several interceptions.

The game then drew to a close with Ilford having their best efforts in the last 5 minutes.

A special word for the referee, Chris Manley, who was in control throughout.

The Urchins now look forward to the Pelly Cup Quarter Final against Romford at home at the Stadium next Sunday ko 2pm
