On a very cold night, Asa's lads did their stuff against a very resilient Enfield Town team.

Two early goals by Ainsley Gasper and Dave Sadler settled the issue, the Towners responding with a goal early in the second half.

The very respectable crowd saw the League Leaders go clear of the pack.

Last night's progi had the table in, and HX had 3 youth team players in, good show lads, a good policy to play them in these games.

I found out,it was a lad called Nyman,he did have 9 on but changed his shirt.Good luck for the season.

Nyman played against Canvey earlier this season so is part of the first team squad.

Adam Gant and Dean Nyman are both first teamers. Adam has been injured since before Christmas, and Dean tends to be a permanent sub for the first team at the moment.
