FA Trophy Final

It would be good to see all the big end of season games back at Wembley, I have seen the stadium from the outside a couple of times and it looks impressive. And on the BBC sport site recently they had a video of the inside and it looked almost ready. I understand the FA intend to hold possibly and Under 21 games and a Women's international there to gain the safety certificate, which I believe requires 2/3rds of the capacity to be in place. Let's hope it is ready soon and fans at all levels will get to experience the new Wembley.

:-)

Ha! I love the way he takes the p!ss out of the original petition's spelling and then types in his very next sentence:

"simply because it would unatmospherical"

Haven't checked, but yes, they probably have.
Having said that, the crowds at Wembley were surely made up with prawn sandwich eating corporate hospitalty hooray Henries, who would have been watching a non-league game for the first time.
At least the more "homely venues" are more likely to be filled with true supporters.
One final note, is it not better to see a final played before 25,000 in a 30,000 capacity ground rather than 30,000 in a third full Wembley?
I can only think one advantage of playing at Wembley might be financial, but who can tell after Grays lost money after playing at West Ham last year.

I agree with you CG that the atmopshere would stink at Wembley most years... byt maybe this year would be the ideal time to do it, before people have had a chance to see the new stadium and it might be a great incentive for a big crowd, but this year only.
