So you will no doubt have been told that it was 1-0 at half time with us laying seige on the Brimsdown goal early in the second period, Alamo style, however their second goal on the hour mark did them a big favour knowing they had some breathing space and fair play they played some nice stuff after that although their fourth and fifth goals came very late and 2-0 or 3-0 would have been a far better reflection on play. Brimsdown were clearly hell bent on going through whereas we had five debutante's, no Lee Scott or his strike partner in crime Dave Dawson or Tom 'Beckenbaur' McMullen, it will be a different kettle of fish at Harpenden on Friday night and they must already be shaking in their boots fearing a backlash.

I haven't been told anything yet. I will find out in due course. There's no rush as it doesn't alter the fact that the holders are through and you are out. All the excuses in the world won't change that. You considered it a cup final but your management felt it was the type of game to risk five debutants in. If you want to come on this forum and hype games up, at least make sure that you're singing from the same hymn sheet as the rest of your club.

They will probably be thinking "great, they took a thrashing only 48 hours ago and weill be deflated as well as knackered, let's give 'em more of the same". I'm considering whether to change my prediction as 4-1 might appear to be a bit cagey now!

I may just pop down to Harpenden then if the game is on Friday night - only a few minutes drive from home and see the "wonderful" Kentish Town at first hand.

Nice one, don't hesitate to come and introduce yourself, mine's a pint of Fosters after the game for promoting Hendon Football Club Worldwide this season.

Rhodes - I was under the impression that this game was the culmination of some great cup run, but I discover that all you had done to get to this stage was to win one game against bottom of the table Cranfield!

Horace - Well scorelines are misleading as last nights proved, our 4-1 win at Cranfield in the First Round was also misleading in that it was 4-1 at the interval and they gave us a real game in the second period. Cranfield and Winslow are both hugely under rated teams and I'm at a total loss as to why they're languishing at the bottom of division 1, it shows how competitive division 1 is.

You do talk some absolute crap, Rhodes - Cranfield have 1 point from a possible 57, and a negative goal difference of 56! Winslow are a little better.

Provide evidence of our worldwide promotion and I may just oblige! And I don't count anything on this forum, the Kentish Town website or in the Islington local paper.

I think he claimed once that there was an article in an Israeli paper (submitted by him), primarily about Kentish Town's Nigerian coach (who has an Israeli son), which might have mentioned Hendon. As it was in Hebrew, he was unable to tell what it said!

Horace - There have been articles in all four corners of the globe highlighting the groundshare and paying huge compliments to Hendon for kindly hosting us this season, Israel as you say, Russia and Nigeria to name just three countries, only this week I received an e-mail from the Guardian wanting to do an article about us so Hendon will very much lose out if the groundshare can't be salvaged at the eleventh hour which I'm still hoping it might be if I go down on bended knee.

If a globe can have corners, Israel, Russia and Nigeria hardly cover four of them! You should be called "Idiom Man" (tempting to make a typo with that!)
