We still have to play all 3 of you top teams at your places and may be able to play a part in deciding who wins it, for old times sakes......hope it's not you....hehehe.

 

Fair play though, after 15 or so games it looked like a mid table finish and now it looks as if top 3 is a certainty.

Still keeping a watching eye on this 'crisis'.

 

But I suppose the big lurking yet very real question is:- Everyone has seen Canvey 2nd, I mean there must be young kids in Canvey who believe the name of their 'towns' football team to be Canvey Island Second. Soooooo, have you got waht it takes this year or will Aldershot just be the next in line to pip you at the post?

 

May even look a bit rosier after we dick the shots at their place on Saturday.

Well we've got nothing to lose, everybody was writing us off last month and even Shots must have been thinking they had the title wrapped up.

 

We made a bad start and it has taken us time to sort things out but we are back on form and are starting to play the sort of football we played last season.

 

There's still a long way to go and we've still got a lot of catching up to do but if anybody had said this time two months ago we would be second come early February I would have been absoultely delighted.

 

If we keep playing like we've done over the last couple of games we'll be there or thereabouts.
