The Reserves won at Billericay tonight 6 : 1.

The starting eleven were: Turner, Olsen, Finch, Robinson, Burton, Wojciechoski, Kwashi, De Fide, Evans, Budge, and Grace. Subs Townsend, Penfold, Stoker, Hanford, and Martin.

Stoker, Hanford, and Martin got on.

Goalscorers were: Evans 3, Kwashi, Budge, and Stoker.

A freezing cold night but a good solid performance only spoiled by giving a sloppy goal away to a poor Billericay side.

See Southport have a new man in charge. Phil Wilson has gone by mutual consent, following their slide from 3rd to 9th and Mickey Walsh, ex Bolton centre half, and more recently, Bury & Blackpool manager has been put in temporary charge to the end of the season.

Southport have also lost their Assistant Manager, Peter Ward, and coach Gary Bauress.

...with Che playing wide on the right. He has the strength to ride tackles and can cross accuratly and has pace.He is certainly NOT a natural goal scorer, though Andy seem's to think he is.His cross's for Jacko to run onto were spot on.There you are Andy, try it out at Southport!

do you honestly believe that che would/is better wide right than benno or tos?if you do,im sorry but i disagree. Che CAN be a great striker as he showed at the start of the season but for months now he's looked a shawdow of his previous self,i think he needs some confidence, how does he get that, scrappy goals, you only need to look at emile heskey, hadnt scored in ages, got a goal, now he's got 3 in 3.

Cannot see Che out wide, Bentley is the player for that position, Che was i believe signed as a striker he needs to keep plugging away and the goals will come, might be a good position behind the front two which may give him more chances to snap up any loose balls etc.`

Bentley and Tostao are two players that we could not even match in our side for the right wing position! CHE on the right?? clouded view that one!! I remember che at woking and he definitely was a natural goalscorer hes still the leading goalscorer and thats all im worried about. Maybe Budge or louie can challenge to be alongside and this is forgetting Liam. We just nered a couple of goals from the front 2-4 to get them back on track.

He has scored three penalties.

If these had been taken by Jimmy Jackson then they would be joint leading scorers with 8 goals each.

If anyone else had taken them (Booth scored against Dagenham) the Che would still be the leading scorer
