Is Jim Bean OK?

Recommended Posts

Potters Bar Town - Yes but that was through pure dictatorship Magabe, Amin, Ceausescu and, dare I say it, Saddam Hussein style, it's strange that the Club I am at now have no objection to the way I go about my business in promoting their cause and spreading the gospel. Furthermore that same individual is making every attempt to ban me from this Forum which proves the point that he is purely a dictator in football Chairman's clothing but this time he doesn't have a leg to stand on and he knows it.

HTFCew - Just to let you know that the Kentish Town Forum is back on line, sincere apologies to everyone for any disappointment and inconvenience this has caused you although give me an hour or two to fully update it.

Just tried it out of morbid fascination but it is STILL DOWN! They must have heard that you were threatening to "update" it!

I've heard that he has stopped doing the paper bulletin but I don't know why. Hopefully everything is ok with him, I can imagine it takes up a lot of his Saturday night as he had always done a superb job of getting the bulletin out so maybe he has just decided to call it a day.

Not sure of the details, but Jim won't be doing the Press Officer job any more. HTFCew has taken it on for the time being at least. Shewould no doubt comment, but she's currently driving up the M1/M6 to Lancashire!

Why don't you ring her on her mobile to get a quote, then you can relay it to us on here.

Because she will be driving and it's dangerous (and illegal) to talk on your mobile while driving!

Thanks for asking Gavin. Unfortunately, the op was postponed until next Tuesday, so I spent 3 days in hospital feeling perfectly well, and missed the Leverstock Green game for nothing!

I don't believe she does, but anyway I don't think that it's necessary to trouble her about this matter while on holiday. If you want to know what the latest is, I suggest you ask a league official, say your mate Phil Rolt?

OH frown I didn't realise that, well I hope all goes well next week. How long will you be out of action for? I hope to make the game at Hertford on April 24th v Harefield, and hopefully see you then. You may see me go in the Hertford end and cheer them on!!!

Gavin - I hope to be there that night too, if you've won the league by then I will let you have the £60. It will also be an opportunity to meet at long last and have a few beers, out of your winnings of course.

I expect to be in hospital for about a week. Don't know whether I'll be out and about for the home Harefield game, but I know that The Stable Enders will give you a warm welcome if you do come along!

Thats a shame, but obvioulsy you need to rest, I am sure the 'stable enders' would give me a good wind up, but I am also sure they would like to have some added support, if we need you to beat Harefield to give us the championship smile
