Gravesend v Aldershot. Friday night, hopefully still in the play offs just don't tell anyone and hopefully they'll bring a few.

Although I can't promise I'll be there. You see the Playstation 3 comes out that day so unless I can manage to tear myself away from that then I won't be there. Hey perhaps I can hook it up into the bar?

Difficult to predict one with a high attendance other than Aldershot. If you risk waiting until the end of the season and we're still in the hunt, then any game should have a good attendance, but anytime before April and your best bets are Morecambe (Feb 10th) and Burton (March 17th).

This Saturday we play Rushden & Diamonds in the FA Trophy, they have hit a bit of form recently since Destiny Westley has taken over. We don't like Westley on the grounds that 1) he says stupid things, 2) he looks like a chipmunk and 3) he's a Muppet but you have to hand it to the guy being that disliked and still managing to get out of bed in the morning.

The Saturday after that we play Morecambe at home in the Conference. Morecambe is a toughy but their form when visiting us is a little indifferent. Who can forget the great 6-0 (or was it 6-1, I forget) victory over them about three years ago. The following season we weren't so fortunate as we lost 3-1, our goal being scored at the Swanscombe end by a great Lee Protheroe free kick if memory serves.

The next home game after that could see Northwich Victoria travel to our place provided both teams have been knocked out of the FA Trophy. Not much to say about them except they aren't very good and if we lose at home to yet another team battling relegation I'm going to pull my eyes out.

After that we see the return of floodlit football to Stonebridge Road as Weymouth are in town for a Tuesday night match. Now I'm not too sure what you've heard about Weymouth but let me tell you as long as it's bad then it's true. Tinpot Mickey mouse outfit from the lower leagues bought by a hotel owner, Martyn Harrison, who splashed the cash too quickly, brought in every Finance Administrators best mate Garry Hill, signed a load of players including Gypsy Monthlies cover boy Lee Elam. However the money soon run out as the people of Weymouth could not be easilly fooled so Harrison released press statement after press statement saying if people don't come down to watch us I'm going to take my money and run. At this the people of Weymouth blinked and got on with their lives with out even considering going to watch the football on offer at the Wessex. Now Garry Hills gone, so have half the squad and Harrison still releases lots of press statements only this time they say how incompetent he has been and how really sorry he is and how stupid he has been with the money. The fans of the club now don't care about his stupidity and seem to have forgiven and there forum has turned into a big Garry Hill/Martyn Harrison love in and they starting up the Martyn Harrison appreciation society. However this surely wont last, last week they lost to [****!!****] like Exeter 4-0 and on Saturday failed to beat Northwich. One of their fans recently said Weymouth are the only club in the top half of the table with a relegation battle on their hands. Wait for the goals to start flying past them then they'll realise how much they hate Harrison. A 6-0 tonking by us should help make their mind up.

Eleven days later we face Nigel Cloughs Burton Albion, managed by the son of the late Brian Clough, Nigel I believe his name is. This is yet another potential play off six pointer as if Burton win both their games in hand they don't only go above us but also, get this, Proper clubs like York and Oxford, not a tinpot club like Dagenham though that’s a step to far. We don't have a too fantastic record against them though only having beaten them once which came earlier on in the season so this one could be then one where our luck changes.

If I haven't been able to whet your appitite yet, and stop me if I'm boring you, then what about our rearranged game v Halifax. This game proves to be a right barrel of laughs. Inflatable pitch fork's signs saying "Folk the pitch" (folk? don't ask). Don't just turn up for the football, turn out for the carnival atmosphere. If we win then there could be petitions a plenty as in the original game Halifax were leading with half an hour to go, not long enough according to them for us to score a winner or even an equaliser.

After this our next home game is against For the Good of the Game Forest Green Rovers. Like Weymouth this lot make friends wherever they go as they continue to stitch teams up for wrong doings and misdemeanours. Get your "Colin Peake is a w***** and I really hate him because he is a complete t***" signs ready boys this one is going to get nasty. Also if you can bring some eggs and flower for us to throw at the nasty Colin that would be grand. It is questionable though whether he'll turn up as they're are rumours that Peake is a vampire.

Southport are next up at Stadio de Stonebridge Road not too much to say about them. They are pretty much relegation fodder along with the rest of the bottom half of the table, along with Weymouth of course, and we could well be in a play off spot by then, still, so if your not interested any of the others then this one could be ideal.

St Albans City Dr Albans Town will be next up at home for us as Tom Davis returns. Now I say returns but he could well be limited to sitting in the stands as so far this he has totalled up 104 yellow cards and nine reds, rumour has it he's and Arsenal fan. Lets hope he plays as we can yell out "Get your hair cut Davis". Not much fun shouting at him as he sits in the stand, besides he might chase me. This is our final home game of the season so get your season ticket application form ready for this one.

Failing that go and watch Dartford go to an away match.

The Daggers away game to finish the regular season could be one with a carnival atmosphere - Daggers could have secured thev title by then & we could be in a play off spot - could be a cracking game & one both sets of supporters could relish(ould potentially be all ticket/ capacity crowd if the scenario does turn out as suggested above, I guess)

The 3-1 defeat to Morecambe was actually 2-1, the win the previous season against them was 6-0, and we have beaten Burton before this season - just not often. Apart from that, good work. I only hope fans of our forthcoming opponents don't take your post too seriously.

In my book the match this saturday, has hell of a lot riding on it for us.

As we have been lucky enough to have been given a second chances in this compertion. If we dont go and win this one then clubs like the Dons will prob ridicule us.

This saturdays match is really our cup final, win this one and as a club we can grow and go on and win the thing.
