Welcome to my 1000th posting

Having reached this milestone I would just like to say that as a shy, retiring, young man of modest intentions and pure in both word and deed how grateful I am to you all for placing on this forums subjects of discussion that I can join in (even when completely off my head after drinking sessions in the clubhouse or at the British Legion)

I trust that as I race towards my 2000th posting we will be able to share fun, laughter and serious debate about matches played, those to be played, quizes...do you know I won the last 3, players and management

 

I'm now off to the pub.

I'm sorry I didn't join the forum before November 2006, as I have obviously missed some first rate drunken drivel. In my younger years as a printer it was part of my apprenticeship to learn to be drunk most of my free time. During that time I became fluent in drunken drivel myself and would of got a great deal of pleasure from reading yours. This reply is beginning to sound a bit like drunken drivel itself, so I had better finish!
