A fans view of Guildford v Camberley last Sat.

We should have got more than one but Guildford had their chances as well.

A Tommy Mac goal after 50 minutes sealed it. He might even be our leading scorer now. Not bad for a defender / midfielder.

I'm still working out how Guildford beat Chertsey though!

First time I've been to their ground and I've made a promise. If we play them next season, I'm not going if the game's between November 1st and March 1st.

The subs and managers were lucky it didn't rain. Guildford haven't got any dug-outs cos the last lot got vandalised so they had to sit on chairs by the side of the pitch.

One strange thing happened that I didn't witness - one of the home players broke his jaw during the warm up. I don't know how he managed that.

Not a bad day overall - a pint in the Wooden Bridge before the game and a couple in The Cricketers, Pirbright on the way back.

Onwards...
