Just been looking at the NLP and it seems that Reading , Tranmere , Millwall and Wycombe are all tracking John Main It also quotes that Tonbridge will be looking for around £10.000 for Main , thought he would be worth more , wonder who could be watching our DH and at what price is he . Personally i don`t think he`d go anywhere this season at least , with his footy and his full time job , doubt anyone could afford him below full time level .

I thought Tonbridge would get £50,000 at the very least, but with some of the teams interested i would be pushing for the £100,000 mark.

Main has hit 5 hatricks this season scoring 26 in total , thats less than Danny .

I have to say that by far the best centre forward i have seen this season is Ian Hodges at Hampton yesterday

Could be playing with Sam Sodje then! Nice to see Sam played yesterday and the papers have indicated he had a fair game!

The trouble is players go for peanuts from non league clubs then as soon as they are registered with league clubs their price rockets.

 

Basically the professional game could not care less about grass roots football

Danny had his chance in the pro game at Millwall. Seven goals in 44 games there will put people off. League clubs generally look for younger players anyway.
