Congrats to Stacey for being selected for the National Game XI against Northern Ireland, and to Luke for being in the back up squad. The displays of both this season fully merit their inclusion in the squads.

 

It was also good to hear a sensible, reasoned interview by Stacey on RK.

It just goes to show that even when an unfashionable team such as ours is doing well in the league, those that choose these places have to sit up and listen and abandon their prejudices. If we had been one of the other sides in the top 10, players of the quality we now have would have been chosen months before now.

No confirmation on the FA site yet, but according to my records Luke Moore will unfortunately be suspended for the Rushden game after picking up his fifth yellow yesterday.
