Why was a voucher given out at the turnstiles today?

If the game had been called off before half time then they would have had to give people free entry when the game was replayed. Had it gone into the second half then they wouldn't have had to give us free entry. The only way of knowing who was there was by giving people a ticket. The Halifax game obviously made our club think. Well done to them.

Maybe they should think a little harder...if they are planning to do this at every home match then it would be far better to have them ready and only give them out when a game is abandoned (in the first half) rather than produce unnecessary litter for the next n years. Talking of litter did I miss the 50/50 announcement ?

You did miss the 50/50 announcement, I heard it read out. How did you manage to link that to litter?

Cos thats what my ticket usually ends up as.....

 

No nightmare...just put 3 or 4 people on the exit giving them out. It might take a little longer to exit but prior to Halifax when was the last time a match was abandoned let alone in the first half ?

 

If we had operated todays system from the last time calculate the number of pieces of paper we would have given out and their associated cost. Answers on a post card.

Something you may have missed in the press last week Hxtownfan, but we have had so much rain down here this winter that the regional water companies have lifted their hosepipe bans. I think most of this rain fell during halftime when you visited us.

no,as sometimes i have to bring other family members

(long story) so not been worth it,so have never bothered buying one.and as i pay at the gate is why i never got a gold one i guess.

I think Dave asked if Busta had a season ticket as Busta said he didn't get a voucher. If you have a season ticket you won't need a voucher.

Perhaps i'm being whooshed ... if I gave up my relevant season ticket voucher for the Hx game , what do I do about the replay ... just show the book ?
