Islington Gazette 25/01

Copied from an old thread, to avoid confusion for the normal-minded people that use this forum. It's the usual rubbish that Rhodes spouts, but I think we all agree it's important not to keep regurgitating old posts just for the sake of it.

The article went on to say that although Cockfosters were five points clear at the top they were pretty much in a false position and we had a game in hand with three of our last four games falling foul of the weather which would have otherwise put us top.

With "the mighty" Brimsdown and Stony Stratford having equally fallen foul of the weather, four & five points adrift of KTFC with four games in hand, how does that reconcile with KTFC being in a perceived summit position.

I thought it was three points for a win and at the end of the season the team with the most points win.

Please explain, you must play a different game than from where I come from.

Cocko the north - Can I ask whether you are a Cockfosters fan, your name would indicate that but isn't that a picture of the Tyne Bridge on your avatar.

Er no I can't say I have had that pleasure, we haven't played them at home yet so I haven't been sent it to incorporate into our programme. So are you saying that you are a 'mighty' Brimsdown Rovers fan, if so I assume our paths will cross next Wednesday evening at Goldsdown Road.
