Firstly Anon, I am with Windsor and not Slough.

Secondly, I was unhappy that it happened to Windsor as when it happened there was still a slim chance that we could have stayed up, ultimately by the time the FA made a decision we were relegated so they decided that there was no point it deducting points.

It makes no differnce what copetition a club plays in it is down the the particular FA they are registered to.

If you look at the FA Suspended Players web page you will see the following message:-

Cardiff City, Swansea City, Wrexham, Newport County, Merthyr Tydfill, Colwyn Bay are dealt with by Welsh FA.

But as mentioned buy Barry Scott it's down to your secretary for not properley checking things out before signing the players, as it was ours.

Actually Maidenhead were deducted all the points we had gained during the 7 matches Taiwo played for us (a grand total of two!) although as we had already been relegated by a country mile it didn't matter. Funnily enough the Weymouth chairman was making similar comments to AFCW fans about the League Administrators when it looked as if they might be denied promotion.
As for Southern v Isthmian when we went into the Southern it was the general view that the Isthmian was tougher now some people say the reverse. Certainly the Southern is the more enjoyable league to be playing in, the travelling is not an issue and we'll be happy to stay there next season, not that we have any choice in the matter.

But don't worry, you continue your "We hate AFC" because their massive fanbase is represented by 30 people on their guestbook attitude. In which case, lets hope you get relegated, the 5 or so posts deserve it.

Have nothing against AFC personally, nice new club (Only irregularity is that many of their fans claim they won the FA Cup years before the club was even formed but hey hun, Slough won the FA Cup years ago (However we were called Old Etonians back then).

I have every sympathy for the majority of AFC fans on this one and think it would be very harsh if you were docked a significant number of points. However, I do think the attitude that it is a conspiracy and that you can up sticks and move to the Southern if you choose is ridiculous.

If we were relegated, it would need to be the Southern League, division the same as Burnham, Windsor etc. I have just seen the Northwood website who are being crippled by the travelling costs to Somerset, Devon etc.

That's cos Northwood are in premier dork! Old Etonians are still going in AFA football, but echo sentiment. Slough Swifts is a better claim, cup semi finalists,

Grandad, it's not just in the Premier Division that you have long journeys.

In Div 1 S&W we have to go to Taunton (Somerset), Newport IOW and a few the other side of Hampshire.

Although there are a lot of more local games there are still a few lengthy journeys. But I think overall that the travelling is better in the southern that in the Ryman.
