Windsor & Eton FC Res 3 - 0 Dulwich Hamlet FC Res

 

Windsor & Eton 'reserves' were back in action last night after a 2 month break seeing off league leaders Dulwich Hamlet 3-0.

 

The side was made up of of the entire first team squad, except for keeper Sam Mazurek, due to the fact that they two have not had a game for several weeks.

 

The lack of games showed as it took a while for the Windsor side to find their feet and midway throught he first half got themselves infront.

 

Jamie Furmage's long bal seemed to be destined for the arms of the Dulwich keeper until Ben Porter managed to nip in and head the ball past him and in the net.

 

Windsor had several chances from corners but could not extend their lead.

 

Into the second half and Windsor continued to push forward but with no reward until the final twenty minutes.

 

Michael Chennels was brought on along with Mark Cooper and Craig Vargas and it was Chennels that would kill the game off.

 

Chennels bagged two late on to give the 'reserves' a great start to 2007.

 

Team:- Brooks, Burgess (Vargas), Furmage, Tilbury (Cooper), Dunlop, Cook, Coyne, Edgerley, Porter (Chennels), Case, Seedel. Subs Not Used:- Tanfield, O'Connor.
