New Signing

We have signed striker Adrian Allen. Information about Adrian can be found on the Maindenhead site of which I have copied

Originally made his name at Leyton Pennant in the late 90s following an earlier spell at Clapton, and signed for Maidenhead in March 2000 in time to help the Magpies win promotion and went onto become a key member of the squad which established the club in the Isthmian Premier Division. Moved onto Hampton in the summer of 2003 and then Leyton in July 2005. Spent most of last season at Chelmsford City, making the briefest of appearances for the Magpies in November.

From what I can recall with regard to his performances whilst with the Clarets, Adrian certainly won't hinder your chances of promotion. Good signing.

i remember seein adrain play a few times, looked very quick and definately knows where the goal is, hopefully he will add to the fire power which is coming from all over the team this year

That was last season Jl.... In the ESC or something like that. We had Ricky Dobson and James Smith in defence

He's a good signing for us, good scoring record at this level and will provide good competition up front. A bit of pace is always welcome of course! Be interesting to see how we line up on Saturday.

If Adrien Allen is on form, I doubt if there are many strikers that are better than him in our division. His confidence dried up at City last season. There was a time when he and Richards were unstoppable - I think we played you during that time.

 

A very pacey striker. Do you think he will be straight in the team or more of a squad player?

 

He could get 10-15 goals for you between now and the end of the season or none at all!

 

As a City fan, I am hoping for none at all but AA is a great bloke so I hope he does well and gets a good run in your side.
