I think the FA have no option (Bury set a precedent) but to kick AFC out of the trophy.

I don't think Fleet will get the result overturned tho', I think R&D will just get a 'bye'.

If Bury was a precedent, then a bye would be at odds with that, since Chester, who Bury defeated, went through in their place.

That little quandary I'll leave for the FA eggheads to sort out, but I imagine as it's very difficult to sort out, they'll take the easy option and not expel AFCW.

Judgement Day is today. Nothing will happen to Eastleigh or Aldershot as the FA can only go back one round. What should happen is AFC Dons should pay back all the money they got from these two rounds, and ours, and split it evenly between Shots and Eastleigh.

Rushden won't get a buy, that will make the FA more Tinpot than they already are. One of the three options listed in this poll will happen.

They wony allow R&D a bye as that game hasnt taken place and a bye will only happen if a team cant field 11 players.

 

Question 1 will be "Did AFCW field a player without the clearance"

 

If yes then the punishment will likely be expulsion and the result being void. With fleet then going through to meet R&D.

 

I still think its poor this has taken so long to show up.And if a genuine mistake , I would be very fed up if i was a AFCW fan.

As the precedent has been set before a number of times, the FA appear to have little option but to expel Afcw. Tough for them, but the football world is watching, and the FA will want to be seen to be consistent.
